Veganism is a crucial part of our survival together on Earth, so for the good of both human and non-human animals, we need for people to make the transition to a vegan lifestyle. And while it is true that many are making this transition every day, education and educational tools are primary keys to success in this ongoing effort. The purpose of the Your Vegan Fallacy Is project is to act as one of these much-needed keys. So if you like what you see here and want to support our continued efforts, we have several ways to do so!
Patreon
We're revamping this site from the ground up, and are supporting that effort with a Patreon that can be found at https://www.patreon.com/yourveganfallacyis. By becoming a patron of Your Vegan Fallacy Is, you're enabling project improvements in several ways. First and foremost, we'll pass portions of your donations directly to our volunteers, giving them some meaningful thanks for their work and encouraging their diligent efforts going forward. While Ceallaigh and Sean run the project and act as the editor and site coder respectively, the real success of the project lies with these volunteers. Without them, the project wouldn't have anywhere near its current reach or efficacy. After that, we'll commission animal rights advocacy media for various fallacy resources pages; see our Goals section on Patreon for more on that.
In addition to the satisfaction of knowing you've helped a worthy cause make positive changes in the world, our Patrons get a first look at the content going onto the website, and you might even be able to shape that content (before it goes so far through the translation process that it's more difficult to update). As you can see in the membership tiers, we also send out our thanks in other tangible ways, including cups, shirts, and hoodies.
Volunteer
There are many ways to help support the Your Vegan Fallacy Is project! If you're vegan and a native speaker of a language other than English, we would be thrilled to have you on the translation team. For those of you who write, the editorial team has a metric whack of fallacies to create. We could also use a hand with graphics work if you're a vegan with artistic talents. Each of the fallacies has a collection of supporting resources, and continuing to curate those is a much needed task. And of course, if you've created resources that we should include on the site, then we certainly want to hear from you about that.
